Weaving webs in the window,
The breeze gently trembling the silk,
A shriek from the sky,
A hawk with its eye--on dinner,
Ate the eight-legged guy.
Flying through a crack under the door,
The fan blowing it to the dining room,
A buzz from the microwave,
Dinner on the table, a hawk, "I'm saved!"
"The food was delicious!" it raved.
